“Elections. They’re a way to make your voice heard. A way to get your beliefs in a place where they can make a difference. No matter what side of politics you’re on, where you live or who you hang out with, your vote counts as much as anyone else’s.
So, I designed this shoe to be a unifying call to vote and show pride in the process. The colors come from vintage election pins for a retro Americana flavor. I swapped Reebok’s heritage Union Jack with an American flag by the logo. The laces let you fly your party colors (or keep it neutral). Article 21 of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights is printed on the tongue. And a friend created an insane character that fuses the symbols of our two largest political parties...like a mascot for voting.
You have to get out and exercise your right. Because you can’t make change if you don’t participate.”
